DURAFIBER is a strong gelling fibre dressing with the benefit of one piece easy removal.

DURAFIBER is a highly absorbent non woven gelling fibre dressing which is designed to provide clinicians with a versatile solution for managing medium to highly exuding wounds.

Composed from a unique new dressing technology, DURAFIBER forms a soft cohesive gel on contact with wound exudate which rapidly absorbs and locks in excess fluid and any harmful bacteria it may contain.

DURAFIBER effectively controls the lateral spread of fluid so minimising the risk of peri-wound maceration and contours intimately to the wound bed thereby helping to maintain a moist wound environment and reducing the potential for dead space. DURAFIBER also provides excellent fluid management, easy one piece dressing removal from the wound, and minimal dressing shrinkage, thanks to its high structural integrity and gelled strength.
