NQ64 is a new wide-spectrum, neutral pH, hard surface disinfectant. When used as directed it has been proven to deliver effective biocidal activity against a comprehensive range of bacteria, fungi and viruses.The NQ64 formulation is a new fourth generation quaternary ammonium compound, which has been demonstrated by extensive testing to meet the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requirements for the effective disinfection of more than fifty species of bacteria, fungi and viruses. EPA Reference number: 47371-131.An independent study has shown that NQ64 fully satisfies the requirements of European Standard EN1276 (1997) under dirty conditions, for the effective disinfection of Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli and Enterococcus hirae.NQ64 is safe to use. Unlike some disinfectant solutions NQ64 is not a sensitiser and is classed as ‘Not Dangerous’ according to ADR specification. NQ64 will not bleach soft furnishings or fabrics.Because of its wide activity against micro-organisms and pleasant smell, NQ64 is ideal for environmental disinfection in Hospices, Geriatric Wards, Residential Care Homes, Doctor and Dental Surgeries and Creche Facilities. It is also particularly suitable for Veterinary Surgeries as it has a wide range of activity against the organisms associated with animal diseases.
