Cica-care is a self-adhesive gel sheet that is medically proven to be up to 90% effective in the improvement of red, dark or raised scars. It can also be used on closed wounds to prevent hypertrophic scar or keloid formation. It can be used on old (up to 20 year old scars)and new scars to flatten, fade and soften the scar, visable results in 2 - 4 months.

Research into how Cica-Care works suggests that it occludes the skin to hydrate the scar area.
