ESP Model H. Antecessor Skull (ZJY-536-H)
Dating in excess of 800,000 years, this species represents the earliest known European hominids. This specimen was discovered in 1994 by J.L. Arsuaga at the Gran Dolina site in Spain. Another interesting feature of this specimen is that it represents the earliest well-documented case of cannibalism in a hominid population.
